Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish native singer. Her birth date was the 25th of December in 1954, at Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox attended her studies at the Royal Academy of Music, London in the 1970s. She was a harpsichord student and flautist piano over 3 years. Lennox made it through on an allowance for students as well as working part-time to supplement her earnings. Lennox was able to make a change in her career path following her dissatisfaction with her lack of skill in the same way as the other Royal Academy students. Lennox started her professional career in the year 1976 in the group called Dragons Playground. She quit the band before New Faces, the I.T.V. talent show. The main part of her role was The singer for The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. It was during this time that she came across Dave Stewart with whom she formed her pop group Eurythmics. Following that Lennox began to work on her first solo album Diva and it came out in 1992. It became a huge critical and commercial success. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album was launched in the month of October, 2014. The C.D. is a selection of Lennoxs favourite soul jazz and blues tunes from her upbringing. In addition in May 2019 Lennox published Lepidoptera an album of four piano pieces that she improvised. The E.P. The first single from her debut album, Now I'm Letting You go... was released as an accompaniment to her installation of artwork at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on December 25th 1954. The Tourists were a new-wave group who had some recognition in the 1970s. In the following years, Lennox was joined by fellow artist Dave Stewart to form the pop duo Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992, through her debut album Diva. It featured many well-known songs, including the hit song Walking On Broken Glass and the song Why. Medusa is her album of studio work from 1995. It has covers of songs like"No MoreI Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Six solo studio albums, plus one compilation album, are to her credit.
